With all this human selfishness and greed, together with forever expanding divisions between us, the future for humanity looks very bleak, indeed. Development of increasingly sophisticated weapons of mass distraction, doesn't help either. Are we living on borrowed time? In a waiting room of annihilation?
It seems obvious, that if we don't change, then there will be no future. Also, clearly, no one else can help us, but ourselves. The big question is whether we are responsible and intelligent enough to survive or not? Only time will tell if humans will make it. If we do, wouldn't that constitute to a new definition of "civilised beings"?
